eFlexes have a wonderful opportunity for an Accounts Administrator with a well-established, high-profile company based in Shannon.
The Accounts Administrator will provide a high-quality service to the organisations Shared Service Centre, and support the business by providing efficient and timely transaction processing/back-office services. The position will focus mainly on processing invoices while providing additional support within the SSC.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Timely and accurate matching of high-volume retail invoices to delivery documentation.

Proactive investigation of variances and liaison with the Retail department to resolve issues.

Working with the AP Associate to ensure timely processing, approval, and payment of invoices.

Monitoring the Retail mailbox to resolve and/or escalate supplier queries as appropriate.

Performing other related tasks, such as creditor reconciliations and supplier account administration.

Supporting the compilation of information for tax filings, e.g., Intrastat returns.

Assisting with month-end close processes (e.g., bank reconciliations) and internal/external audits.

Providing assistance to and covering for other team members as required.

Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.

Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and one-off projects.

Performing other tasks as reasonably required.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
The ideal candidate should have/be:

Previous experience in an Accounts department (desirable).

A self-starter with the ability to work on their own initiative and a flexible, hands-on approach.

A high level of attention to detail (essential).

Experience with Microsoft Office packages, e.g., MS Excel and Office.

Experience with an ERP package, e.g., Oracle (advantageous but not essential).

Proven ability to meet deadlines and coordinate activities effectively.

Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate risks when necessary.

The ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all business units.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
