Duty Operations Manager:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Operations Manager to join the team at a renowned visitor attraction in Co. Clare.
As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and management of the visitor attractions, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.
The Duty Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operation with a focus on visitor experience, health and safety service and delivering a world class visitor experience.
Priority Areas for the Duty Operations Manager:
- Support the Head of Operations and Assistant Head of Operations in developing Craggaunowen Visitor Attraction to the highest standards.
- Ensure the organization’s key objectives are met by effectively managing workloads and optimizing resource use.
- Collaborate with the Head of Operations and Assistant Head of Operations to maintain a safe and secure environment for both visitors and employees, while advancing initiatives in conservation and sustainability.
- Deliver a world-class visitor experience and foster a positive work environment by implementing key training programs and promoting strong employee relations.
Duty Operations Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations at Craggaunowen Visitor Attraction, including opening/closing and staff supervision.
- Manage and support operational staff, ensuring high performance, motivation, and development.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure exceptional visitor experience through staff training, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage business-critical systems, including ticketing, security, and IT networks.
- Handle cash reconciliation, rostering, payroll, procurement, and maintenance scheduling.
- Liaise with vendors, tenants, suppliers, and external stakeholders as required.
- Assist in marketing, event planning, and customer engagement initiatives.
- Implement sustainability and green initiatives, overseeing landscaping and environmental projects.
- Manage site inspections, maintenance, and facility upgrades, ensuring energy efficiency and security.
- Represent Clare Tourism Development DAC at external meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned by management.
