We currently have a superb opportunity for Facilities Maintenance/Operator with Shannon based multinational Aviation client. Reporting to Facilities Team Leader, position will be offered as full time permanent with significant career progression opportunities for the right candidate.
Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited to the following:
Essential Job Function
- Maintenance duties – Painting and Small Maintenance Repairs.
- Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance duties - Ensuring the facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
- Act as a point of contact for all our in-house staff and tenants should any issues present.
- Key-holding duties and responsible for building openings each day.
- Promote and demonstrate a safety mind-set in all aspects of Facilities work.
- Support the EPA and hazardous waste management processes as required.
- Assist with the mandatory inspections and preventative maintenance program for mechanical and building infrastructure.
- Assist with external service providers in the execution of the preventative maintenance program and reactive work requests, including task assignment.
- Provide on-call cover as part of a Facilities Team roster.
- Support and participate in the introduction, maintenance, and utilisation of a Computer Aided Facilities Management system.
- Ad-hoc tasks assigned by Facilities Team Lead.
- Deputise for the Facilities Team Lead as required.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Team Lead
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities Environment
- Proficient in use of MSOffice applications with strong IT organisational skills (document

- Detail oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability.
- Excellent coordinating and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and utilise own initiative.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong interpersonal skills, teambuilding skills, and the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
- Works closely with project team members to resolve problems with assigned projects
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
