Duties & Responsibilities:

Source and order all non-aircraft materials and services, including:
- Cleaning materials, abrasives, and consumables
- Aircraft raw materials (metals, paints, adhesives, etc.)
- Tooling, capital equipment, and MRO supplies
- Workwear, PPE, office supplies, packaging, and IT materials
- Departmental service contracts and agreements

Ensure accurate placement of purchase orders with vendors

Source and order commercial materials, services, and tooling for projects

Process purchase requisitions and manage vendor-managed inventory (VMI)

Negotiate fixed-price agreements, discounts, and rebates with vendors

Maintain and monitor MRP, vendor performance, and supplier approvals

Develop and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Work with Freight Forwarders to optimize transport costs and logistics

Coordinate with Finance to resolve invoice queries, returns, and credit notes

Monitor material changes in the market (obsolescence, shortages, regulations)

Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative product solutions

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations for hazardous materials

Adhere to company policies, procedures, and manuals (M.O.E & S.P.M)

Collaborate with internal departments on budgets and purchase approvals

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Purchasing Leader
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in purchasing/supply chain, ideally in aviation
- Qualification in IIPMM / APICS Purchasing, Logistics, or Supply Chain (desirable)
- Strong IT skills and experience with ERP systems
- High level of commercial awareness and customer-focused decision-making
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and reliable with a positive attitude
- Experience in a Lean / 5S environment (preferred)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Team player with a passion for company values and customer service
