We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Materials Co-Ordinator with Shannon, Co. Clare based aviation client. Position will report to Project Manager, will be offered on an initial 7-month contract with significant opportunity for the longer term for the right candidate.
Essential Job Function:
- Receipt of pre-draw shipments from Parent Hub, sending parts to relevant hangar store within the MRO for A/C REG (parts to be received to the relevant location on AMOS).
- Receipt of T-Orders from Parent Hub (confirmation all spares received and booking to AMOS to increase visibility on AMOS ).
- Once received on AMOS, sending parts to relevant hangar store for A/C REG (parts to be received to the relevant location on AMOS).
- Once parts are used in MRO, book to A/C (to improve tracking on AMOS and usage etc to support forecasting for future checks).
- When parts received on T-Orders without paperwork follow up with stores team in Parent Hub for certs (currently c-check team do this).
- When parts arrive at MRO on PO, follow up with goods in team in Parent Hub to receive i.e. send ALD605 plus copy of certs to goods in for receipt (currently c-check team do this).
- If parts arrive at MRO from supplier without incorrect certs, follow up with c-check team to provide (i.e. without CAA form and required on UK reg etc).
- For any BF orders sent direct to MRO for A/C and NOT used, before returned to Parent Hub, raise FOC PO to allow receipt by the goods in team on return to Parent Hub (currently c-check team do this).
- For any spares sent to MRO for A/C A and used on A/C B, Stores personnel would need to amend stock on AMOS as required, book to A/C and notify the C-Check Team to resupply.
- Work alongside the Airline tech rep on all of the above to ensure each check tracker sheet is updated with correct stock information.
Candidate Requirements
- Technical / aviation background and ideally hold a 3rd level qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years’ professional experience with aircraft maintenance and overhaul.
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes (planning & purchasing, warehouse, transport).
- Is professional in all dealings and has excellent communication skills.
- Good team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Thinks and acts commercially and delivers customer value.
- Able to prioritize and meet deadlines and targets.
- Be flexible according to workload during the project phases.
- Able to problem solve and generate new ideas / identify potential for improvement within their working area.
- Computer literate (word, excel) and knowledge of AMOS or equivalent.
