Our Shannon, Co Clare based Aviation multination client is now recruiting an experienced Production Planner to join their growing team. Position will be offered as full time permanent role, reporting to commercial Manager with a superb package on offer for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsibility for production planning support and order management
• Tracking order slippage and supporting recovery efforts
• Maintaining order schedule when demand outstrips capacity
• Prioritization of orders/customers in Production teams in conjunction with Customer Service/Commercial input.
• Management of Purchase Order Positioning for all customers
• Identification and communication of salvage repair orders to Customer Service.
• Monitoring capacity allocation versus actual intake (load management) and communication of associated requirements (e.g. Inventory control)
• Provide input to strategic mid and long-term capacity requirement planning
• Tracking of delays stopped in process, monitoring inactivity of orders Skills you can offer
Skills/Experience:
• Proven product planning experience in a fast-moving environment.
• Third level qualification within Supply Chain Planning, Production or Engineering is an advantage.
• Strong level of computer proficiency: MS Tools (Excel, Word…), ERP, etc.
• Social intelligence, a successful applicant will be required to communicate between various teams within the organisation and interact with group customers.
• Logical approach to problem-solving
• Ability to work in a pressurised environment.
• Organisation, time management, prioritising and the ability to handle a complex, varied workload
• Ability to multi-task, working to deadlines
